ABOUT Tzintli

Tzintli Alvarez is a New York City based actress,  but her heart will always be in the Midwest! Tzintli recently underwent a two year training at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts where she majored in Film & TV Performance, focusing on different techniques such as; Meisner, Viewpoints, Suzuki, and the Uta Hagen technique. Tzintli is also currently taking private singing lessons with Berit Johnson at The Krowne Vocal School NYC. 

The love for acting sparked as a child for Tzintli.  She would always play pretend with her younger siblings; Mateo, Eri, and Spencer, while making up the silliest of stories for them. She also spent time singing around the house with her grandpa whilst playing the guitar. While she is a first generation daughter of an immigrant Mexican family, Tzintli was always fortunate that being creative was always encouraged and that her family always sat front row at every one of her performances for theater, show choir, band, and even her at home performances.  Tzintli is currently keeping that dream and inner child alive by chasing her dreams in the Big Apple, where she constantly learning and growing with the help of Industry Professionals, her friends, her beloved co-workers at Rockefeller, or even random strangers on the street. 

In her free time, Tzintli loves to volunteer at Fount Church by either helping the welcome team blowing up balloons in the morning & opening the door for people or helping the youth ministry by playing games of UNO, Head Shoulders Cup, & more.  She also loves hanging out her friends, reading new books, playing her guitar, and watching live theater or movies.
